waiting for santa

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of Mama Elephant Stamp Hilights!

Today we featuring the adorable Gingerbread Cookies stamps set!

I created a little scene from Christmas night. My mind went back to the memory of when I was a little girl and the night before Christmas I used to prepare cookies and milk for Santa.

I stamped the little card, the milk bottle and the cookie using Distress Oxide to have a no line effect. I stamped with the masking technique in order to superimpose my subjects among them. I drew the window and the curtain and then I coloured my scene using watercolor markers and Distress Inks. I added shadows and the details with the Prismacolor pencils and at last I created snowflakes and the light details using a white pastel pencil and a white gel pen.
