Hi everyone! Jennifer here today with a scene card featuring the amazing Mammoth Love stamp set. These mammoths are so sweet and perfect to create so many type of cards! As usual I have chosen to create an illustrated card and I set my scene in the Ice Age.

Unlike the usual I tried to work using a light gray smooth paper, to give a more soft effect to my coloring. I stamped mama mammoth with her super cute baby using a no line ink and then I colored them with Copic Markers. I don’t use often this markers, but I recently discovered that they have a great yield not only on a Copic paper, but also on a craft paper and similar, so I wanted to try them on a light gray paper too and I’m really satisfied with the result! Then, I added some shading and details using Prismacolor pencils.

For the background I used Distress Inks for the sky (Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough and Chipped Sapphire) and mixed media technique for the snowy floor. At first I used a white pastel pencil to give a base at my floor. Then I used Prismacolor pencils to add some shadows. At last I whitened the floor with a white permanent pencil and a white gel pen blended using a cotton swab.
When I finished my coloring I added the snowflakes with a white Uniposca and a white gel pen.

I hope you like my project and it will be inspire you!
Thanks for reading and have a colorful day!
OH Jennifer! I couldn’t love them more! Your talent is unmatched!
