MFT STAMPS | OCTOBER SLIMLINE CHALLENGE

Hi crafty friends and welcome to the MFT October Slimline Challenge!

The theme for this month is Christmas!

Christmas is such a special time for so many of us, and Christmas cards are a time-honored tradition for recognizing the season and extending heartfelt wishes for a joyous holiday to our friends and family. For this month’s Slimline Challenge, the assignment is simple. We want to see your best slimline Christmas cards!

This is the Slimline card I created for the current challenge.

I really love to realize Christmas card! Today I had so much fun playing with the super fun MFT BB Beast Friends Stamp Set.

I stamped the Yeti on a watercolor paper with the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone to have a delicate effect. I watercolored it using Distress Inks Tattered Rose, Pumice Stone and Fired Brick. After that I added some shadows with pastel pencils.

I blended the sky with Distress Inks Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bought and Uncharted Mariner. I realized the snowflakes with a white acrylic marker.

At last I matched two sentiments from the MFT MSTN Cool Christmas Greetings Stamp Set and MFT Itty Bitty Holiday Stamp Set. I stamped the main sentiment with the MFT Amarena Cherry Premium Dye Ink Cube and the secondary sentiment with the MFT Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Ink Cube.
