Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing My Favorite Things September Release is finally here!
For my Release Day project I created an autumn scene card matching the new beautiful MFT YUZU Hoodie Weather Stamp Set, illustrated by Yan Au, and the MFT Cozy Days With You Stamp Set!
I started creating a black and white sketch for my card (when creating a scene card, I recommend always making a sketch first).
I stamped the boy and the squirrel on the MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock with the Memento Desert Sand Ink Pad, to have a no-line effect. I lightly drew the mountain in the background and the trees in the foreground. After that I colored the whole card using Copic Markers choosing colors in the autumn shades.
At last I realized some highlights with a white gel pen and added a piece of the MFT Black Licorice Card Stock as a base for my card.
