Hi everyone! Welcome to the first day of the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown!
Today I played with the new beautiful MFT Reel-y Great Day Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula to create a CAS scene card!
I used the new MFT Pastures, Ponds & Pools Stencil to create a guide for the background. I stamped the bear with the fish using a light brown ink to have a delicate effect. I chose to stamp it half in and half out of the outline to have a more interesting effect.
I paint the landscape using watercolor and gouache. I added the trees and the rocks with Prismacolor pencils.
I colored the bear using watercolor and colored pencils as well. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.
At last I stamped the sentiment with the MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink Pad at the bottom of my card.
