Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing My Favorite Things May Release is finally here! Do you have a favorite?
For my Release Day project I had so much fun to create a scene card with this super sweet critter from the MFT We’re the Picture of Best Friends Stamp Set! I figured it painting a violet galaxy with its brushes!
I stamped my subject using the Memento Desert Sand Ink to have a no-line effect. I used the MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock which is perfect to color using alcohol markers.
I colored the whole scene using Copic Markers. For the galaxy I chose to use colors in the shades of black and violet to have a strong and dramatic effect. I white heat embossed the stars and then added some details using a white gel pen.
At last I added the shadows using a black pastel pencil to give a 3D effect to my work.
