Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing My Favorite Things March Release is finally here! Do you have a favorite?
There are some stamps that are special and magic. Stamps that make you dream and open doors to fantasy. The amazing MFT YUZU Welcome To Adventure stamp set illustrated by Yan Au is undoubtedly one of that stamps. This gate is perfect to create a lot of projects!
I imagined that this gate was the door to a magical world, so I created a fantasy scene. I stamped it with the Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap on a watercolor paper. I drew the steps and colored the whole scene using Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors.
I realized the ivy using gouache paints to have a more covered effect. I added the shadows using pastel pencils. At last I realized the magic sparkles with a white gel pen.
