MFT STAMPS | MARCH RELEASE COUNTDOWN STARTS NOW

Hi everyone! Welcome to the first day of the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown!

Today I’m so happy and excited to introduce you a new amazing MFT artist! You know her because she’s already a MFT designer as well! Say welcome to the new amazing designs by Yan Au! I really love her style and I’m sure you’ll love it too!

I had so much fun playing with the new MFT YUZU Island Shell-ebration stamp set! I realized an illustration using the island and the crab from that set. I started stamping them with the MFT Natural Hybrid Ink Pad on a mixed media paper. I masked them and the clouds on the background with a masking paper.

I paint the sky and the sea using the gouache paints. I really love painting with the gouache, because they give a beautiful cartoon effect!

After that I remove the masking paper and colored the island and the crab using the gouache as well.

At last I added the highlights with a white gel pen.
