MFT STAMPS | JANUARY RELEASE

Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing My Favorite Things January Release is finally here! Do you have a favorite?

Today I played with the dragon from the MFT Knight in Shining Armor stamp set! This critter is beautiful and so fun, and I decided to pair it with other products of the MFT January Release, to create a fun Valentine’s Day card.

I stamped the dragon with the MFT Natural Hybrid Ink pad to have a no-line effect and then I colored it using Prismacolor pencils.

I chose to add some hearts from the MFT Begging to See You Soon stamp set, and I stamped them with the same ink I used for the dragon. Once again, I colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I added two simple lines to turn the two little hearts on the right in two little balloons.

I realized the speech bubble using the MFT Say Anything stencil, blending the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I stamped the sentiment into the speech bubble using the MFT All Kinds of Love stamp set.

At last, I realized the shadows with a black pastel pencil and add the highlights with a white gel pen.

Please, visit the MFT Blog for more inspiration and check out what the other DT Members have created.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope my card will inspire you and I’ll be back soon with new projects!

Have a colorful day!
