Hi crafty friends! Welcome to a new MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
Below you’ll find Sketch 555. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below the MFT Blog Post for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create!
This is the card I realized following the current MFT Sketch.
I created a CAS card with this little mice from the MFT BB Harvest Mouse. When I saw it I immediately thought to Hamlet, so I couldn’t resist and I realized a card totally inspired by the famous line: “To be or not to be?” 🙂
I stamped the mouse with the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone and then I colored it using graphite pencils. I turned the apple into an apple-skull for my little Hamlet. I drew the pencil and I colored it using again the graphite pencils.
At last I realized the sentiment, playing with words and with the assonance between “to be” and the graphite pencil scale “2B” 🙂
I used the MFT In Stitches Lowercase Alphabet Die-namics, MFT In Stitches Numbers Die-namics and MFT Captions Alphabet Die-namics.
Now it’s your turn! Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Thanks for stopping by! I really loved this sketch and I hope you’ll join us in this week’s Sketch Challenge!
