SPELLBINDERS PAPER ARTS | BE MERRY COLLECTION

Hi everyone! I’m very excited to be here today as a guest designer for Spellbinders Paper Arts, to share with you the cards I created using the new amazing Spellbinders Be Merry Collection!

I had much fun to realize these projects and you know, it’s never too early to start creating Christmas cards!

For my first project, I created a scene card using the beautiful Spellbinders Chill Bear Etched Dies. I die cut the bear, I assembled it and then I colored it with Copic markers. I realized the background blending Distress Inks in the shades of blue. I created the snowflakes using a white gel pen. At last, I stamped the main sentiment using “Merry Christmas” from the Spellbinders Holiday Gnomes Clear Stamp and then I added a red banner with another sentiment from the Spellbinders Mini Christmas Greetings Clear Stamp.

  • COPIC MARKERS: W7/W6/W5/W4/W3/W2/W1/W0 – RV69/R59/R46/R27/R17 – E02/E00
  • DISTRESS INK: Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot.

The second project I created is a coloring on a black paper. I really love this coloring technique and I thought it was perfect for the beautiful Spellbinders Friendly Snowmen Clear Stamp! I started stamping the snowmen on the black paper using the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and then I added some details with a white gel pen. I realized the snowflakes using a white pastel pencil and a white gel pen as well. At last, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card.

  • Canson Extra Heavy Smooth Black Paper

For my last project I wanted to create a card a little different from my usual. I used the amazing Spellbinders Home for Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamp. I stamped the main sentiment in the middle of the card and I embossed it with a gold embossing powder. After that I created a pattern stamping the four foliage designs of the stamp set, with a brown ink. I colored them with Copic markers and at last, I added some details with a white gel pen.

  • Neenah Smooth Desert Storm Paper
