MFT STAMPS | JULY SLIMLINE CHALLENGE – FEELING BEACHY

Hi crafty friends and welcome to the MFT July Slimline Challenge!

The theme for this month is Beach!

It’s the height of summer fun and the perfect time to impart some dreamy beach landscapes into your card making. Wide swathes of sun, sand, and sea provide the perfect backdrop for activity-packed scenes as well as relaxing tableaus. Join us this month as we share slimline cards featuring an inviting beach theme.

This is the Slimline card I created for the current challenge.

I had really fun to follow the Beach theme this month! I really want to the beach this year, but unfortunately I think I’ll just stay home, sob! So, I travel with fantasy and today I go to relax with this funny penguin on a tropical beach!

I die cut the MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock with the MFT Slimline Starter Die-namics. I used the amazing MFT BB Penguins in Paradise stamp set, that is just re-released with the June Vault. I stamped the penguin and the palm tree using the MFT Natural Hybrid Ink Pad to have a no-line effect. I colored the whole scene with Copic markers. At lest I stamped the sentiment on the right of my slimline card using the MFT Extreme Black Ink Pad.
