Hi crafty friends! The amazing MFT Magnolia Blossoms Card Kit is NOW available on MFT Boutique!
One of the things I love most when creating a project is telling a story through stamps. This is a difficult thing with flowers stamps and this is why I don’t use them often. But the beautiful MFT Magnolia Blossoms stamp set inspired me to create an illustrated card that would tell a fairy tale. So, I couldn’t resist and I turned this magnolia into the rose of the Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
I stamped my flower on the MFT Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock with the Distress Ink Picket Fence and I colored it using pastel pencils and Prismacolor pencils. I drew the glass bell with a white pastel pencils. After that I realized the background using Conté à Paris Soft Pastels in the shades of blue and green. At last I added details on the glass bell and sparkles, using a white pastel pencil, a white colored pencil and a white gel pen.
