MFT STAMPS | JUNE RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 3

Hi everyone! Welcome to another day of MFT June Release Countdown! We are halfway to the big day!

Today I show you the card I created featuring the amazing MFT Spa Day stamp set, illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

When I saw this stamp set I immediately felt relaxed, like I was in a Spa with this cute bear. So, I decided to create a scene card with a thermal pool. I stamped my subject on the MFT Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock, using the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I colored the whole scene using gouache paints (if you don’t know, gouache is my new obsession, lol!) and I realized the thermal pool, the stones and the bamboo to create a perfect spa setting. I added a touch of white pastel pencil to the bathrobe to give it a soft effect and then using again the same white pastel pencil I realized the thermal steam, to give the idea that the water was hot. At last I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card using the Distress Ink Picket Fence.
