Hi everyone! Today I’m so excited and honored to be Guest Designer for Sweet November Stamps!
Sweet November Stamps is a sister run business bringing whimsical digital images to life for card makers and colorists, of any level, to enjoy. The magic happens when Amy‘s drawings come together with Tee’s technical know-how and creativity. As the name implies, sweet and cute images are what they are all about with plenty of magic and fantasy included.
Today they have a new amazing digital release in celebration of MERMAY and there are 3 beautiful Mermaids with Reflections waiting for you!
This is the project I created as Guest Designer using the amazing Mermaid Reflections Capri!
As I saw this mermaid I immediately fell in love with her, and I decided not to make a card, but to create instead a small illustration.
I worked on a watercolor paper, but I chose to do an experiment and I colored the mermaid using Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers. I really love the effect of these markers on a watercolor paper!
I created the background using watercolor and watercolor markers and at last I added some highlights with a white gel pen.
