MAMA ELEPHANT STAMP HIGHLIGHT: DASHIN THRU THE SNOW

Hi everyone! Welcome to the first day of Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight!

Today I’ll show you a scene card I created using the beautiful “Dashin Thru the Snow” Stamps Set from the October release.

I just love this set with lots of little friends having fun in the snow! There are so many creative possibilities using these awesome characters!

For my project I choose to use the little sweet bunny on the sledge. As usually I imagined a scene for my subject and I started to create a sketch for my card.

I stamped the bunny on a watercolor cardstock with the Distress Oxide Pumice Stone to have a no-line effect. Then I drew, with a watercolor pencil, the guidelines of my scenery.

I colored the bunny using watercolor markers and Prismacolor pencils for the shadows and the details.

I realized the trees using watercolors and then I added the details of the branches with watercolor markers. I colored the sky with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and I created the shadows on the mountains and on the snow, using Distress Ink Pumice Stone and Weathered Wood. I added the snow splash with withe gel pens in different size.
