Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing My Favorite Things April Release is here!
For my Release Day project I had so much fun creating a scene using once again the new MFT SY Next To You Stamp Set!
I stamped the bears with the Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad on the MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock. I started realizing the background. I blended some Distress Ink in the shades of light blue to realize the sky and then lightly drew the mountains with Copic Markers. I added the trees, the grass and the gravelly ground.
At this point I colored the river and the bears, adding more shadows and contrast to give the difference between the background and the foreground. At last, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card and matted it with a black card stock.
