MFT STAMPS | FEBRUARY RELEASE COUNTDOWN KICKOFF

Hi everyone! Welcome to the first day of the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown! Are you ready to discover all the new amazing MFT products??

Today I introduce you the new super fun MFT JB Monkey Around Stamp & Die Duo! These little monkeys are the cutest, aren’t they??

I had so much fun realizing a scene card set in the jungle!

I stamped the monkey on the MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock with the Memento Desert Sand, to have a no-line effect. I lightly drew the branch under the monkey with a brown pencil. I started coloring the background with Copic Markers, realizing the trees in the jungle. In this step I didn’t add more shadows, to create the background perspective effect.

Then, I colored the monkey and the branch, darkening the shadows to get more depth to the subject in the foreground. I added the lianas and realized the highlights with a white gel pen.

At last, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card and matted it with a black card stock.
