MFT STAMPS | UNDERWATER SCENE

Hello crafty friends! Today I want to share with you an idea to create an underwater scene card using a stencil in an unconventional way!

I used the MFT Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil to create the underwater cave from which you can see the whale, protagonist of my card. So, I trimmed a piece of MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock and started by placing the stencil on it. I stamped the whale form the MFT Best Catch Ever stamp set with the MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I masked it with a piece of masking paper and then I colored the sea using Copic Markers in the shades of blue and blue-green. I removed the making paper and colored the whale. I created the light rays using the Copic Markers blender.

At this point, I removed the stencil and colored the cave as if it were against the light. So, I used the black as main color and blended the parts affected by the light with the BV Copic shades.

I realized the bubbles with a white pastel pencil and a white gel pen. At last, I stamped the sentiment under the whale, with the Ditress Ink Picket Fence.
