Hello friends! I’m very happy today to introduce you the new amazing MFT Heart Burst Hellos Card Kit!

When I saw the first time this new amazing kit I immediately thought: “Wow these products are really beautiful, but… I have to get out of my comfort zone of coloring…”.

Well, I challenged myself creating projects totally different from what I’m used to doing usually and believe me, I had so much fun to realize them!

For my project today I used a coloring technique I hadn’t used in a very long time. Do you know Encaustic Art? This is a painting technique where the wax colors are heated up with a particular support similar to a small iron, and painted with. If you are interested in learning more, I refer you to a post of a few years ago where I illustrate in detail this technique:

So, once I created a coloring with Encaustic technique, I die-cut the heart using the MFT Heart Burst Hellos Die-namics.

After that, I created a background using watercolor powder pigments in the same shades of green. At last I added the banner with a sentiment from the MFT Heart Burst Hellos stamp set.

Take a look below to see all the amazing products included in the Heart Burst Hellos Card Kit!
