Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The new amazing MFT July Release is finally here! Which is your favorite?

For my MFT & FRIENDS project I used the beautiful MFT Something to Squawk About stamp set.

I really love the tropical birds and these parrots are perfect for a lot of projects!

I die cut the MFT Black Licorice Card stock with the new MFT A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I stamped my parrots with the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I colored them in two steps. At first I used pastel pencils to give a “base of colors”, and then I used Prismacolor pencils to have a more “strong” effect. I drew the branches and then I colored them with Prismacolor pencils. At last I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card with the Distress Ink Picket Fence and then I went over it with a white gel pen.
