Hi crafty friends! Today is the DAY! The June MFT Vault Release is finally available!!
For my MFT Vault Release project I used the beautiful MFT BB Birthday Bears stamp set.
I really love the clear design of this stamp set. These bears are perfect to create a lot of birthday cards of course, but they are also perfect for letting your imagination fly and creating a scene card.
So, I created a scene with this beautiful bear that is fishing a salmon. Do you remember the Disney’s movie Brother Bear? Well, I wanted to create a scene reminiscent of “the salmon run”with Kenai finally being able to catch a salmon! 🙂
I stamped my bear on the MFT Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock with the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I drew the rocks and then I colored the whole scene using soft pastels. I really really love to change often the coloring medium and soft pastels are perfect to create a scene like this. At last, I added some details with a black colored pencil.

Oh my this is the most amazing waterfall scene ever! Fun fact, I hiked to a waterfall today; and this one looks as refreshing as the one I was by today! This bear looks like he is just as happy as can be too. Your coloring is amazing, truly amazing!!!!
