Hello friends! Welcome to the new MFT Color Challenge! The colors for Challenge #165 are Candied Yam, Moroccan Spice, Prickly Pear and Jalapeño Popper. Remember, you don’t have to use the EXACT colors to play – just use colors inspired by the ones you see below.
This is my card inspired by these colors.
I used the little funny chameleon from MFT BB Polynesian Paradise stamp set. I so do love this stamp set! The design is really amazing and there are so many characters to use in many different ways! I created a no-line coloring and I figure my chameleon on a slice of melon, because you know, my little friend is super greedy! I work on MFT No-line Coloring Card Stock, which is perfect to use with alcohol based markers. I colored my card using Copic markers and then I realized the shadows with pastel pencils. At last I added some highlights with a white gel pen and I stamped the sentiment with MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink Pad.
